Has anybody noticed that every year that there are always new trends and unexpected events throughout the school year? Now as the school year begins, there are a lot of exciting things that could happen! Everyone has their own ideas about what this year could bring. Let’s look at some of the students’ predictions being made around school. Will things turn out the way we are expecting, or will there be surprises waiting for us? Only time will tell!
“My future prediction would have to be that hopefully this year the soccer team (Girls or Boys) will make it to the championships.” Sophomore Emily-Rose Schultz said. She envisions the soccer teams to keep fighting until the whistle blows. Our Greenway soccer team is a great team that puts a lot of effort in their sport; even with their losses, they still hold strong and continue kicking the ball! So, look out for the soccer teams and wish them the best luck for their season!
“What are your future predictions for this school year? I’d say this school year will go better than last year, last year was not the best. For sports, I think we will make at least a few championships this year. In fashion, everyone has something different, but Y2K is coming back in style for some people,” Sophomore Karma Diaz said.
Karma is looking forward to this school year to be better than last year, she also imagines that at least some sports will make it to the championship! Greenway sport teams embodies the value of hard work and is determined so hopefully they keep fighting until the game stops. She thinks that everybody wear different style but also thinks that Y2K is coming back into 2024.
“My future prediction for the school year is that our student section will get better and more loud,” Freshman Lejla Hatic said. Lejla is hoping to give our student section more spirit. Come on Greenway, show some spirit and cheer for our school! High School is a one-time experience, so make the most of it.
“I predict math will become the most popular subject, and Crocs will go away,” Math teacher Mr. Mrozinski said. Mr. Mrozinski pictures that math will become the most popular subject and he expressed his strong opinion towards Crocs. He hopes that Crocs will stop trending and it will go out of style so nobody wears them anymore.
“My predictions are people will stop wearing and get tired of Adidas Sambas, and I think girls varsity volleyball will get a state championship,” Freshman Derek Lopez said.
Wow, it seems like Derek doesn’t like the recent trend of Adidas Sambas shoes, and he hopes everybody stops wearing them. He also thinks that the varsity girl volleyball will win the state championship. So watch out for the volleyball team!
