Childhood memories have a large impact on how an individual behaves and builds their personality. The environment, mainly the parents play the biggest roles in ones childhood. With that being said everyone has their own individual backstory. These are some of our Greenway students and Teachers childhood stories!
“My favorite childhood memory was when I lived in an apartment with a lot of scorpions, and I would take the scorpions from this rocky area, and I would pick them up and I had this childhood best friend, and I used to put the scorpions in his house and in his hair. And when he eventually got stung by one he was screaming at me and begging me for help and I told him to fend for himself, and he went to the hospital and I giggled the way there. and he still has no idea that I did it.” – Freshman, Levi Rodriguez
“Going to Tucson and hanging out with my family every weekend.” – Sophomore Caden Chandler
“7th or 8th birthday because we did like these challenges for whoever won and stuff.” – Freshman Elias Jackson
“My favorite childhood memory was the 4th of July in 2018 when I used to live in California. I was outside with all my family and friends watching the fireworks and spending time with each other, the reason that’s my favorite memory is because in that moment all my family were in one place, and now my family is spread across the country. So I like to look back at that moment and think about how everyone was present.” – Freshman Ashley H
“I was one of two and I was in a highchair at the dinner table. And I remember I was sitting there kicking back and forth, back and forth. And my mom told me “If you do that again you’re gonna fall”, and I didn’t listen to her and I kept doing it and she told me again and I just kept doing it and I of course fell. I don’t know why that’s my favorite childhood memory haha.” – Freshman Sienna P
“My favorite childhood memory was when I got my first little moped.” – Freshman Lyla P
