Have you ever wanted to explore the unknown and ignite the future? If you had the chance to leave everything behind and journey into the unknown, would you choose the endless frontier of Space or the living wonderland of Pandora?
Pandora is a lush, living world from Avatar, glowing with beauty and danger. Pandora offers a deep connection to nature, spirituality, and a sense of harmony with all life.
Space has a vast, mysterious frontier filled with stars, planets, and endless possibilities. Space offers adventure, discovery, and the thrill of exploring the unknown.
Brooke Myer, a freshman in Greenway, was on the side of going to Pandora.
“I’d choose to go to Pandora for a month. It’s such a beautiful and amazing place, full of glowing forests, floating mountains, and cool creatures. It feels more alive and magical than space. The first thing I’d want to do is ride an Ikran, the flying creatures the Na’vi use. It would be an exciting way to explore Pandora and learn more about their way of life. If the ship broke down on the way there, I’d stay calm and try to help fix it. I’d make sure we had enough supplies and contact for help if we could. I’d stay hopeful because getting to Pandora would be worth it,” she said.
Freshman Kaliyah Davis also picked Pandora.”I’d pick Pandora. It’s a beautiful world I’ve always wanted to see. First thing I’d do is explore the glowing forest. It looks magical and so cool! If the ship broke down, I’d freak out at first, then I’d try to like send a signal for help. Meanwhile, I’ll just try to become one of them LOL,” she said.
Gianna Giorgianni, another freshman at Greenway, was in agreement.
“I’d totally choose Pandora! It’d be fun to go to a wild jungle full of amazing creatures and floating mountains! Just being there would feel like stepping into a dream. The first thing I’d do? Ride one of those flying things! Soaring through the sky over Pandora would be the ultimate thrill and the best way to see it all. If the ship broke down mid-journey, I’d be nervous but pumped! Then I’d jump into action, help fix it, and keep my eyes on the prize. No way I’m missing out on Pandora!”
Danielle Davis, another freshman, said the same thing.
“I’d go to Pandora. It’s glowing, wild, and super cool! First thing I’d do is fly all of those creatures. Who wouldn’t want to ride a flying creature? If the ship broke down, I’d stay chill, help fix it, and keep dreaming of Pandora!”
Ms. Hamby, a language arts teacher at Greenway gave a way different response! She chose to go to space instead!
“I believe I would rather go to space for a month. I think it would be fascinating to see the stars and planets close up as opposed to how we able to view them from the ground. Since it is only for a month, it would be kind of cool to experience weightlessness as well,” she said.
