Senior Color Powder Party was Hearty

August 15, 2025 was the second annual Senior Color Powder Party and our seniors had a blast!

Athletic Director Mr Feldman stated “I believe that the adults as well the Seniors that attend have an amazing time. It certainly looked like it from all of the laughter, action and photos that were taken! Thanks to Amber Gould, Brain Dudo, Sarah Peterson, Ed Naujokaitis and Stuco for their help!”

Senior Ramsie Hoil stated “I had so much fun it was so great to see all the seniors in one place. Unfortunately, my scalp is still stained and powder is stuck in my ear. I’m still in the process of getting purple powder off my skin.”

“Yes, I had fun.  I did not expect many people to show up, but you know what we were lit. I ate a whole packet because Ramsie Hoil threw it in my whole face. No powder dyed my hair, not that long” stated senior Raven Gayden.

“I definitely had a lot of fun and I was not expecting that many seniors to show up. I’m really happy that we were all able to come together as a class and do something that we all enjoyed. It took SOOOO long to get the powder off but eventually it all came off” stated senior Phaedra Hewlett.

Senior Kenna Echols stated “Yes, I had so much fun. No, there were more people that came than I thought were going to. I ate so much of the stuff I might as well be the powder. No hair did not dye but my head did. It didn’t take that long to get the powder off. I just jumped in a pool and I got it pretty much off. ”

“Yes, I had so much fun! There was a lot more people than I thought there would be. I ate a bunch of the powder, that was not fun. My hair is currently dyed purple. It took me a quick shower to clean off but my hair took awhile” stated senior Emma Ellsmore.

Senior Justin Poor stated, “I did have fun at the senior color powder party. I was not expecting that many seniors to show up. I probably accidentally ate at least half a bag of powder. My hair is surprisingly not dyed from the powder. The powder was surprisingly easy to wash off, and It only took less than 5 minutes to get it all off.”

Senior Madison Shaw stated,  “Yes I had fun. No I wasn’t expecting that many people to show up. I think I ate like 4 whole bags of powder. Yes my hair is still dyed and for like 3 minutes I went swimming!”

Senior Emma Sauerbrei stated, “The amount of people who showed up really surprised me due to the fact that last year it looked like not as many people came. It made it so much more fun because so many people showed up!”

Mr. Feldman stated, “I think what inspired me to do it again this year was watching the seniors from last year have such a great time. I have always believed in giving our students experiences they couldn’t get in many places and the Senior Color Powder Party is one of those here at Greenway.”

Senior Stuart Sarjeant stated, “I did indeed have fun and would definitely do it again. I was expecting there to be a lot but not a lot at the same time, it was a good amount of seniors. I tried not to eat any of the powder but some of my good friends decided to throw some at my face when my mouth was open and yeah. Let’s just say one or two bags, my mouth definitely had powder in it. Luckily my hair is not dyed but it took four washes just to start getting color out of my hair, seven total. Well it took two showers to get all the color off of me, but who cares. All that matters is that I had fun and I would do it again.
