Students never got to see their teachers during high school when they were young, wild, and free. We all have yearbooks and pictures that our parents hold against us from our youth, but what about our teachers?
Mr. Mrozinski is a math teacher located in the upstairs B building, and he has a good way of teaching his subject. He likes music, and he specifically has all the posters from concerts up against his wall. This was Mr. Mrozinski in high school at Shadow Mountain. You can still see the resemblance between him from high school and from now. Also, this photo was his junior year photo.
Ms. Rearick originally came to Greenway in the 2000’s as a student. Now she teaches Biology and is great at what she does. She’s willing to help out the students no matter how hard the work is. This photo is of Ms. Rearick was when she was in high school. Nonetheless, you can still see the similarities from her then and now.
Teachers are more than just the people that assign us papers or tests that we never want to do. They were teenagers at one point. Nonetheless, they have many memories of them in photos. That is a great reason why it was a good choice to see how the teachers presented themselves back then in a photo with action or just a normal photo. In addition, teachers sometimes only have one face that all students see. With the photos provided that can show that they are still teenagers but just all grown up and now know to understand good decisions.
Teachers now and then are pretty different, but some things stay the same. Back then, teachers were stricter, and students had to follow tough rules. They used chalkboards and handed out worksheets. Now, teachers use smartboards and assign work online. Today’s teachers are usually more understanding and try to help students in different ways. They care more about mental health and try to make learning fun. Even though the tools and methods have changed, teachers still work hard to help students learn and succeed. That’s one thing that hasn’t changed.
Another staff member is the wife of GBC publisher Mr. Johnson. Her name is Ms. Johnson and she are excited about actually attending and participating. She was in a show hosted by Greenway. She was break dancing in this photo displayed here. You can see the resemblance from her now and then. People grow up but sometimes they hardly change.
