As school starts to come to an end, I wanted to ask seniors about their favorite high school memory. Here’s what some seniors had to say.
Since I am a senior, I wanted to include one of my favorite memories. My favorite memory would have to be going to the film festival last year. It was a really fun experience and something I’ll always remember.

Senior Zoie Brant stated, “My favorite high school memory was the senior color powder party because it was such a fun and unforgettable way to celebrate with everyone.

We were all laughing, throwing colors, and just enjoying being together without worrying about anything else. It felt special knowing it was one of our last moments all together before going our separate ways.”

Senior Raven Gayden stated, “I would have to say my basketball senior night. We played Shadow Mountain after losing to them by one point. It was the greatest comeback of the year.

We were all so locked in before the game, which made the night even more special. All of our families were there, and our teammates’ kind words were spread. THE BAND WAS THERE. We played our very best because we wanted revenge .”

Senior Cadence West stated, “My favorite memory would have to be prom. It was a really fun and exciting experience, and honestly, it was an unforgettable night.”

Senior Emma Sauerbrei stated, “My favorite memory was going to my first film festival my freshman year.

It was a really exciting experience because everything felt new and interesting, and I got to see so many creative films that I had never seen. It’s something I’ll always remember because it made me appreciate filmmaking even more.”

“My favorite memory was coming to Greenway and getting to be with Aiden, Addy, and you again. It meant a lot to reconnect and make more memories together. Winning prom royalty with Maddie made the whole night even more memorable,” stated Senior Matix Mayes.

Senior Aryana Gutierrez stated, “My favorite memory was the color powder party. It was a really fun and exciting experience, and I got to enjoy it with everyone while just having a good time and getting covered in color.

It’s something I’ll always remember because it was so fun and unique.”

Senior Stuart Sarjeant stated, “My favorite memory would have to be becoming the weatherman. It was a really cool opportunity and something I’m proud of, especially since I was also serving as the GBC president at the time.

Being able to take on both roles made the experience even more meaningful and memorable.”

This does a great job capturing meaningful senior memories. The variety of responses makes it feel genuine and shows different experiences.
