Greenway has a new counselor, and I wanted to learn more about her. Ms. Gosalia is a great new counselor; even though, she is from our rival Moon Valley. She has been welcomed into our Demon community.
First and foremost, Ms. Gosalia had good advice that came from her father. She said that she was debating on teaching in the classroom. But, from her counselor she was driven to become a school counselor. But, she was reconsidering on going back to school to get her teaching degree. Her father said to not start something new when she is already there and suggested that she start a new path. The words of her father made her who she is today.
In addition, we all know teachers like traveling but we just don’t know where. Ms. Gosalia likes to travel during her summer when she is not in school. When she travels she likes to stay there for a couple of weeks. For example, last year she spent a couple of weeks in Scotland. In addition, she went to Spain in 2024. Here are a couple of photos from her trips that she has taken in her past years of being a counselor.
Lastly, she likes the new changes from Moon Valley to Greenway. She has said that all of the staff have been very welcoming and that everyone is nice including the students that she has worked with so far this year. Although, she said it’s a bit new for her to deal with two grade levels at a time, she loves the change of environment.
In conclusion, everyone views teachers for what they teach but not for who or what they are. Teachers have many canon events that make them the person that they are in the present. Instead of asking for our new classes every year; we should ask the counselors and teachers how they live their life and if they had any experiences worth sharing.
