1. Why should students join photography?
“Photography provides students with an opportunity to explore art through a medium they are familiar with.”
2. What do you enjoy about teaching this elective?
“I enjoy interacting with students and being able to teach something I am passionate about.”
3. What fun activities can you expect while being in photography?
“My 1-2 students can look forward to assignments like freeze motion, close-up, and shadow and reflection. My 3-4 students can look forward to assignments like ghost, food, and painting with light. All students learn how to use Photoshop effectively.”

“There are so many careers in photography. Portrait, Wedding, Real Estate, Fashion, Fine Art, Food, Crime Scene….”
5. What do you wish you could teach more about?
“Because professional standards guide CTE classes, I can create my curriculum in a way that keeps things relevant and interesting.”
